Kyonggi University recently announced a policy to operate academic affairs in the first semester of 2022 based on the principle of expanding face-to-face classes. As a result, in March, the campus was full of energy after a long wait. As the semester began, the long-empty campus finally welcomed students excited with anticipation for college life. Many students will enter the quiet campus for the first time due to the social distancing policy over the past two years. So Pharos would like to post an introduction along with photos of each building on campus for students of the classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022 who have entered the university campus for the first time.

Teleconvention Center

The Teleconvention Center stands out as soon as you enter the main gate. It is located across from the bus stop. Twice a year, the faculty members hold seminars here before the semester begins.

Soseong Museum

The Soseong Museum is located on the way to the welfare center behind the Teleconvention Center. The museum presents new exhibitions every season. It is a three-story building that operates five independent exhibition rooms with various amenities.

E-Square

If you go down a little from the library toward the back gate, you can see a modern building called E-Square, which has a bookstore and stationery store. There is also a space on the second floor for studying. E-Square is located with Yeji Hall and Deokmun Hall located on either side.

Comprehensive Lecture Hall Building

Next is the Comprehensive Lecture Hall Building where many humanities classes and the graduate school of education lectures are held. Freshmen often visit here because of the copy room and cafe on the first floor. The Comprehensive Lecture Hall is located right behind the spot where three university of engineering buildings are located.

Student Hall

In the Student Hall, newspaper broadcasters and various club rooms are located, and there is a schoolyard in front of it, next to the Professor's Research Building.

Gamseongcore

Gamseongcore is a space for the college cafeteria, where you can choose lunch from the menu. It sells cheap menu items such as pork cutlet, ramen, and bulgogi set meals for students. It is located between Yejigwan(Building 4) and the Central Library.

Kyonggi Dream Tower

Kyonggi Dream Tower is the dormitory of Kyonggi University. There is a bus stop nearby, and it is one of the buildings you can see right away when you enter the back gate of the school.

The Central Library

The Central Library has recently been remodeled to provide more space for students to study more comfortably than before. It is located next to the Gamseongcore and is located in the center of the school campus.

Students of some departments may have visited the school several times through face-to-face practical classes even during non-face-to-face sessions. However, most students rarely had a chance to visit the buildings listed above. Let's visit the above buildings now that school has started!
