Through various perfumes, you can create a romantic atmosphere with your lover and give a feeling of trust when something important happens. In other words, perfume can be thought of as one’s identity and is a means of expressing one’s personality.

 There are various kinds of perfumes. Many people separate them into fruity and vegetal scents. Even if you are accustomed to using perfume, the types of perfume and corresponding terminology are confusing even to professionals. Perfume varies in terms and types depending on gender, time frame, and type of scent. First, the type of perfume is divided by gender. Woman, Femme, Elle, Her and Donna denote women’s perfume. Man or Men, Homme, Uomo and Male denote men’s perfume. Perfume terms related to gender are usually in the middle of the product name. Second, among the key qualities of a perfume are the notes. A note is a change in scent over time. The "top note" is 15 minutes from the time it was first sprayed, the "middle note" is 30 minutes to 1 hour, and the "base note" is 2 hours later. One of the attractive elements of perfume is that the scents perceived at the beginning, middle, and end are all different. The third aspect is the kind of perfume. There are five categories: Perfume, Eau De Perfume, Eau De Toilette, Eau De Cologne and Shower Cologne. Perfume is the most fragrant perfume with a long duration of up to 12 hours, with an addition rate of 15% to 30%. It is not a type of perfume commonly used due to its rich fragrance. Eau De Perfume has up to 8 hours of sustainability, with an addition rate of 8% to 15%. It is the type of perfume that is most commonly released because it is the most favored scent by the public. Eau De Toilette has up to 5 – 8 hours of sustainability, with an addition rate of 4% to 8%. It has the characteristics of a soft and weak scent, so it is used a lot by perfume beginners. Eau De Cologne has up to 4 hours, with an addition rate of 3% to 5%. It is good to use lightly as a daily perfume with a subtle fragrance. Shower Cologne is a type of mist that means a weak perfume with a duration of one hour. Knowing the kinds of perfumes is helpful when choosing them.

 Each person has a different preferred scent due to their individual differences. There are many perfumes, but it is not easy to find a perfume that suits you. Scent is one of the factors that determines one`s image. Therefore, it is important to find the right scent for yourself. Perfume workshops offer a variety of scents and characteristics. The perfume making process consists of five stages. STEP 1. In the base selection step, select the scent that determines the overall atmosphere of the perfume. It is also a way to experience many scents because each perfume has different strengths and characteristics. STEP 2. Choose a flavoring that will blend together. At the perfume workshop, you can smell a lot of scents and choose a scent that you like. STEP 3. After determining the base and flavoring, make some samples. Even if the same flavor is mixed, the atmosphere of the scent varies depending on the proportion and concentration of the flavor. The sample is made by mixing the different flavoring proportions. It is a good way to find your own scent because the atmosphere of the scent changes with a slight difference in proportion. STEP 4. Before choosing the scent, apply the sample scent on the test paper and smell the scent. Since it is conducted as a blind test, it is chosen based on the scent. Since the scent evolves as time passes, it is a good idea to check the scent over time. STEP 5. Choose your favorite scent and start making your own perfume. Using the ratio chart of your own scents, measure the flavoring using a scale and mix it in an empty bottle. After two weeks, stabilized scents can be used. You can use bottles and labels that represent your own characteristics. In addition, the same fragrance can be made again using the fragrance ratio chart.
